Founder of El Paso Brass, Sam is Professor of Trumpet and Director of Jazz Ensembles at UTEP. He has performed as lead trumpet and conducted for Tony Bennett, Jack Jones and Bob Hope and has appeared as soloist and conductor with many professional bands and orchestras in the U.S., including the El Paso Symphony Orchestra. He has been Principal Trumpet with EPSO for 46 seasons.
